Your Tasks

  • Planning and organizing shore excursions, including coordination with local partners and logistics.
  • Advising guests on excursion offers and destinations, as well as taking and processing excursion bookings.
  • Accompanying and supervising guests during excursions to ensure a high-quality experience.
  • Creating and presenting informational materials and lectures about excursion destinations.
  • Collaborating with the Cruise Manager and other departments to integrate excursions into the overall onboard program.
  • Monitoring the quality of excursions and obtaining guest feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Responsibility for the accounting and budget of the excursions department.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training or degree in tourism or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in organizing and conducting tours and excursions, preferably in the cruise industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of local culture, history, and geography of the destinations.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English (additional language skills are an advantage).
  • Strong organizational talent and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Friendly and service-oriented demeanor towards guests.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
