Your Duties

  • Planning of coordinating all onboard entertainment for the cruise.
  • Delivering onboard activities and entertainment e.g., music nights, game shows, Film viewing, quiz nights and trivia…
  • Prepare lounge equipment and regular testing.
  • Perform Disco Night with provided on-board equipment or using own playlist.
  • Conduct sun deck games e.g. cornhole challenge, various tournaments, quizzes and trivia evenings.
  • Presentation of route and travel highlights including tour-guide info when relevant.
  • Assisting guest artists, local entertainers, lecturers with tech support on ship.
  • Occasionally perform own music program e.g. with tracks or with own accompaniment.
  • Host function for the areas of Entertainment and edutainment

Your Profile

  • Experience in the field of entertainment as a host, performer or as an animator at a hotel resort, cruise ship or in a similar hospitality sector.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written German (B2) and English (B2)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Natural problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Stress tolerant
  • Excellent team player
  • Familiar with a multicultural working environment.
  • Experience with German-speaking guests
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Guest oriented and professional attitude
  • Some experience with studio and technical equipment e.g. PA, Mixing desk, mics.
  • Playing an instrument or acquaintance with performing arts is an advantage
